2008 Junior Golf Program

Once again Orchard Vali is offering a 5-week Junior Golf program for students age 10 and up.  The program will be held on Mondays from 8:30 am – 12 pm , starting on June 30  and ending July 28. It will be under the direction of Mr. Merton Raner, a retired athletic director and physical education teacher.

The purpose of the program is to provide an enjoyable atmosphere allowing the junior golfer to develop their skills, knowledge and appreciation for golf.  Drills, games, and on-course experience will be used to provide the junior golfer with a well rounded education about swing, rules, and the way the game should be played.  

Daily Schedule:     8:30 – 9:00           Group instruction to include rules, etiquette, and topics of interest

                                    9:00 – 10:30        Formal instruction with emphasis on drills

                                  10:30 – 12:00        On-course play

The cost is $70 per student.  

2008 Junior Golf Lessons

If the Junior Golf Program does not fit your schedule, or you have younger students wishing to get golf instruction, a group lesson program is also offered.  Lessons are one hour per week for 5 weeks, starting June 30 and the cost is $35.  The following days/times are available:

To register for either of the above programs, send the registration form and payment to Merton Raner by June 23.
